Kristina Carrier

Kristina Carrier is a harpist based in Meridian Idaho. She specializes in Celtic, Contemporary and Worship music. She has been playing the harp for 45+ years.

She first showed interest in playing the harp at the age of five. Her parents took her to see an orchestra perform that had a harpist. The entire evening she couldn't take her eyes off of the harp. From that night on she knew that someday she wanted to be a harpist. Due to the cost of a harp, her parents encouraged her to learn the piano first, since they already had one of those. She received her first harp at the age of 15. She began taking lessons from a lady that played the harp at the church that she was attending. 

As a performer Kristina has played at weddings, funerals, private events, churches, conferences and hospitals, bringing a calming and peaceful atmosphere to every setting.

In addition to performing, Kristina is a dedicated harp instructor who works with students of all ages. She loves to share the gift of music with others and she encourages her students to find their own song within them. She offers a supportive and personalized environment.

Whether performing or teaching Kristina believes that music can bring joy, peace, healing and life to others and her heart is to share that through every note she plays.
